Jiwoo Hahn

Born and raised in Seoul, Korea, Hyewon Hahn received a Bachelors of Fine Arts Degree from Pratt institute, major in Drawing and minor in Art History in 2007. During her undergraduate study Hahn also studied painting and art history in Venice with Pratt institute, Italy. In the same year of 2007 Hahn enrolled in Pratt Institute where she earned a Master of Fine Arts degree in Painting and graduated with distinction. During her graduate study she also studied Contemporary Art in London at the Sotheby’s Institute of Art in England.

Hahn is currently working as a studio artist in Brooklyn New York. Her portfolio consists of acrylic, oil sticks, on paper. Hahn creates a painting by overlapping lines on top of each other. Each work is a contemplation of her emotion, journey and thought.
